General guidelines for using the FOM:

• Instruments should be scheduled in advance whenever possible
• The instruments can be reserved 24/7 by qualified users
• Users are required to log in before starting their experiments and log out once the session is complete.  Any problems with the instrument should be noted in the log book.
• This area is subject to surveillance and may or may not be monitored.
• Any problems with an instrument or the FOM should be reported to the LSBI administrative staff immediately. If problems develop that cannot be explained by normal instrumental wear and tear, the LSBI has the right to review video surveillance to identify all involved parties and notify the appropriate PIs.
